Our Approach
An Athletic Therapy–Led Approach to Better Movement in Winnipeg
Founded in 2016 by Certified Athletic Therapist Nikki Smith, Revolution Rehab was created to offer a better rehabilitation experience, one built around time with the therapist, thoughtful assessment, and truly individualized care.
As one of Winnipeg’s first Athletic Therapy–led multidisciplinary clinics, we help people move better by addressing the whole person, not just the symptom. Our care commonly supports:
chronic and recurring pain
soft tissue injuries
sprains, strains, and mobility limitations
ongoing movement issues
active lifestyle and desk-related pain
We work with everyday adults and recreational athletes who value clear explanations, consistency, and a treatment plan designed around real life.
No gym required.
Your rehab plan is practical and built to fit into your day. If you can do it here, you can do it at home, without complicated equipment or overwhelming routines.
Our Services
Athletic Therapy
Thoughtful, whole-person care for pain, injury, and better movement.
Athletic Therapy is the primary service at Revolution Rehab. Care is one-on-one, therapist-led, and focused on understanding how your body moves in real life and designing care around those needs.
Sessions prioritize assessment, hands-on treatment, and clear explanation. Rather than long exercise lists or gym-based programs, we focus on a small number of meaningful changes you can realistically carry into your day.
This approach is especially effective for people dealing with chronic pain, recurring issues, or movement problems that haven’t fully resolved elsewhere.
No gym required.
If you can do it here, you can do it at home.
Supporting Services
-

Massage Therapy
Our massage therapists provide hands-on care to reduce muscle tension, support recovery, and improve mobility. Many clients choose to combine massage therapy with Athletic Therapy as part of a coordinated approach to feeling and moving better.
-

Classical Acupuncture
Rooted in traditional acupuncture principles, this approach supports balance within the body and may help with pain, tension, and stress. It is often used alongside musculoskeletal care and recovery-focused treatment.
-

Workplace Wellness
We support organizations with practical wellness initiatives that improve comfort, movement, and injury prevention. Services may include posture and movement assessments, education, and on-site support.
-

Recovery Services
Simple, non-clinical options designed to support muscle recovery and overall physical well-being. Recovery sessions can be helpful between workouts, during busy or physically demanding periods, or alongside rehabilitation care.
Our clinic is located in Winnipeg’s St. Boniface area.
In-person appointments are available, with virtual options offered when attending the clinic isn’t possible.
